　　Today, I’d like to share with you some information about fiber-cement boards. These boards are made primarily from cement, supplemented by other minerals and certain fiber-based adhesives. So, what methods and steps should be followed when using fiber-cement boards? And how exactly?

　　What is a fiber-reinforced cement board?

　　Cement fiberboard, also known as fiber-cement board, is a new type of building material made primarily from siliceous and calcareous materials, with the addition of plant fibers. It is produced through pulping, sheet formation, pressing, and curing processes. Cement fiberboards manufactured under high pressure are referred to as fiber-cement pressure boards; their performance is superior to that of non-pressed cement fiberboards. Fiber-cement boards have several advantages. Cement fiberboards have a wide range of applications. Thin boards can be used as ceiling materials, and perforated boards can serve as sound-absorbing ceilings. Traditional boards can be employed as wall and/or decorative materials, while thicker boards can be utilized as steel floor slabs for attics, attic floor panels, exterior wall insulation boards, and wall panels, among other uses.

　　What is the fiber-reinforced cement board method?

　　1. Use large-head, high-quality Phillips screws, and the frame springs should be made of fire-retardant galvanized material with a thickness of 0.8 mm or greater.

　　2. Place a 65 mm x 35 mm column on a 30 cm² surface.

　　3. Reinforce the lateral columns below 120 cm.

　　4. The joint requirement for indoor construction is 3 mm, while the requirement for outdoor construction is 5 mm.

　　5. The distance between the locking screw and the edge should be at least 1.5 centimeters, and the spacing between locking screws should be 10 centimeters.
