About Fire-resistant board for ventilation ducts Today, we’d like to share three key points about installation with you. We hope our introduction will help you gain a better understanding during the installation process. Let’s take a closer look below—feel free to dive in if you’re interested!

When installing fire-resistant panels for ventilation ducts, we need to ensure that the materials meet room-temperature standards and maintain a stable temperature. It is particularly important to note that these materials must not be installed in locations where the temperature differs significantly from the normal operating environment. In addition, while these panels are more impact-resistant than other ceiling materials, they should not be placed in lower-level corners or areas that are highly susceptible to damage. Contaminated air can easily stain any ceiling. Of course, this highlights the importance of paying close attention to air flow and return paths during design, as well as regular maintenance of the air-conditioning system. Air should pass through filters, and the building itself should remain free from dust generated by construction activities. Another key point is that decorative panels and ceilings are classified as interior decoration products. Fire-resistant panels for ventilation ducts should be designed and installed in spaces with normal operating temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 70%. All plastering, cement work, terrazzo flooring, or other wet-construction projects must be properly managed and protected. Therefore, it is recommended to install and prepare heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems before, during, and after installation to maintain a stable temperature.
When using Fire-resistant board for ventilation ducts At this time, you should also pay attention to ensuring that the inner sides of the two front wheels of the fireproof board equipment are pulled into the station and clamped tightly against the outer sides of the two belts. The ends of the left and right wall panels should likewise be clamped against the outer sides of the two belts, thereby adjusting the extruder to its operational state. Next, you can check whether any fasteners are loose—especially the bolts on the front and rear support plates as well as those on the electrical system—and also verify that the oil level meets the required specifications. There should be no foreign objects in the hopper, and grease should be forced into the grease nipples on the vibrating guide rods. At this point, you may naturally turn on the main power switch and start the main motor to rotate. The main motor and drive impeller of the ventilation duct fireproof board will run idly. If any abnormalities are detected, immediately stop the machine and perform a thorough inspection. Do not start the vibrator under no-load conditions, as this could damage its components. During on-site construction, it is generally recommended to place both the ventilation duct fireproof board and the base plate in the same environment for 48 hours, maintaining a humidity level of 45%, with relative humidity not exceeding 80% and a temperature no lower than 18°C. Once all these steps have been completed, wait until the surface no longer sticks to your hands, then carefully place the fireproof board onto the base plate. If the bonding area is large, you can use wooden strips to temporarily hold the fireproof board in position on the base plate before fully placing it down. After alignment, remove the wooden strips and gradually press the fireproof board onto the base plate step by step.
